Aussie dental teams supporting oral health in Timor-Leste
Timor-Leste Dental Program 
My brilliant, caring and beautiful daughter Kim Mai so generously giving of herself to help the people of Timor-Leste with their dental health needs. Her paternal grandfather John Frederick Hartley NX78025 was a member of the 2/2 Independent Company who spent all of 1942 on Timor fighting a guerilla campaign against the Japanese invaders and occupiers who brutalised the Portuguese Timorese during WW2. The Timorese gave great assistance to the Australians during those times, and hence we see the granddaughter of one soldier returning the Timorese kindness via her dentistry skills.
