Idalina is a multi-talented lady who works in the clinic in Maubara – she works as a pharmaceutical dispenser, housekeeper and chef all rolled into one.

Nico Tolentino Faria Pires is a Timorese dental therapist who graduated from UNDIL, Timor’s university. Originally from Baucau, he has been employed full-time by the TLDP since 2017.
Francisco Ribeiro – aka Siko, worked with us as our driver, sterilisation nurse and translator in 2011. He now works in the offshore oil rigs.
Diamantino Correia Morais – Tino is a Timorese dental nurse who started working with our teams in 2012. He currently works in Ermera

Ana Paula Dos Santos Tavares Salgado hails from Same. With the assistance of the Hatubuilco Friendship Group, she has trained in Brisbane as a dental technician and dental assistant. She often joins our teams as a translator and dental assistant.
Armando da Costa Martins started working with us in 2014. He is the new dental nurse in Maubisse. He and his wife are expecting their first child in August
Rina is a nurse and administrator at Likisa Hospital. She helps our team to liaise with patients
Elisabeth da Sousa – Elisabeth, a Timorese dental nurse worked with the program for 3 years. She has 2 young daughters.

Miss Aida do Santos – Aida’s easy smile and gentle nature makes her a joy to work with. She is a Maubara local and works in Likisa Hospital
Mr Gil worked with us as a driver and steriliser in 2012.
Sr Fatima is the head of the Carmelite community in Bobonaro
Isabel Noronha Pereira de Lima Maia has been working with the teams since 2017. She is an excellent translator and administrator and, like all our other bright young Timorese, has a strong work ethic and a positive attitude to change.

Ricardo Mendonsa, an Indonesian-trained dental therapist, joined Armando in Maubisse Hospital.
Sr Lourdes, as well as helping in the schools in Maubisse has started s ‘Meals on Legs’ Program, helping to feed the elderly, sick and young.
Afonso, previously a full-time driver for the Sisters in Maubara, has helped out with many teams over the years. He now is a long-distance truck driver, ferrying building materials from Dili to all parts of the country.
Sr Bernadette and Sr Filomena – Sr Filomena da Costa, our Timorese coordinator, and Sr Bernadette took the team for breakfast at the foot of the Cristo Rey statue in Letefoho.
Benedito Araujo – Beni was the dental nurse in Maubisse until 2013. He has now been transferred to Aileiu
Bonifacio Cardoso Martins was employed by the program in 2016 as a translator. He is a linguistics student in Univeridade Nacional Timor Leste. He is an absolute gem – hard working, enthusiastic and fabulous at his job. We are convinced he will be President one day
