David first joined the program in 2006 and has served on 8 teams. David enjoys working with the Carmelites to help the Timorese people because he feels that he is doing something worthwhile and appreciated. He has an affinity with kids and enjoys surfing and the outdoors. His most potent memory of Timor is breaking the Troopie’s axle in the middle of nowhere.
